Hello!
I believe it's important to tell you my personal testimony of what God means to me.  I want others to know that Jesus lives in my heart. By having this website and being involved in the ministry I am able to share my story of what I am doing for the King and to let you know my background and where God is leading me in life.

First, I was fortunate to have been raised in a Christian environment. I grew up in a small town Jamestown, Ky.  My father Rev. Danny Lawless was called to preach  in 1983 when I was 6 years old. I am the oldest of three children - myself, sister Amanda and brother Trent.  My mother Glenda has been a devoted mother, Pastor's wife and grandmother for many years.  I've lived a life of a "preacher's daughter."  Many may say that's the worst kind but all in all I wouldn't trade it for the world and I've learned the right way by being raised and directed in God's ways.

Throughout my childhood years I was grateful to have had close church friends and was involved with a wonderful church Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, Ky.  Over the years growing up my dad evangelized and we traveled many miles all over the state of Kentucky and beyond, hearing my dad spread the word of God.  Through that I was able to make alot of friends and I got to sing and play the piano at lots of churches.  When I turned sixteen my father moved us to Monticello, Ky. to pastor Lincoln Avenue Church of God.  It was in the small town of Monticello I met Ross,  now my husband of over 15 years and with our two beautiful children Blake & Kyra trying to do a work for the Lord.

When God put Ross and I together in 1993 it was meant for us to work together for the Lord.  Our love and visions were the same in life and we still have so much in common today.  People laugh at us over eating the same foods as anyone that knows us know we are picky eaters.  We are just common people nothing grand but just servants of Christ.  We try to keep humor in our lives to keep us going and to stay focused on what God wants us to do. We have compassion for the lost and want to minister to people around the world.

Later years in 2006, Ross was called to preach the gospel as well.  I've seen God absolutely move on his life in an awesome way. We both have been writing songs and singing for many years and literally have hundreds of songs written down from years past.  Over the last year we've been trying to focus on recording some of our songs and continue to write.  We spend lots of hours in our recording studio playing, singing and recording but it doesn't start or end there.  The lyrics to our songs are from the heart but there's more that goes along with it that people don't see or understand.  To grasp ahold of what God wants to be sung is a sacrifice as well as obedience.  If you are a leader you may know where I'm coming from.

As a singer/songwriter/musician, it starts with reading God's word, fasting, prayer and lining yourself up with the word of God on a daily basis.  I feel the Lord has made me strong in many ways to overcome the devil and acknowledge when he tries to bring me down and I try and stay focused on God's plan and will for my life no matter what.  See, my vision started as a young child and I feel I'm reaching a time in my life that God is anointing my life more than ever to reach others through song and supporting Ross as he spreads the word.  God just keeps opening more doors for us to get out there and minister and we are seeing positive results from that.  Ross is evangelizing more and we both are able to share our songs with many other churches and people around the world.

We are proud to be members of the World Wide Ministries Church of God, Inc. in Monticello, Ky. where my father is the pastor.  As part of our ministry we do not sing or preach doctorine nor do we try to seperate religion because we all are striving to make it to one place called Heaven and we are focused on the word of God alone.  We just do what God lays on our hearts and try to lift people up across this land.

Pray for us that we can travel more and spread the word of God and souls can be reached.  It's "All For His Glory."

From the heart,
Heather
