We want to share with you some song history. This will help you understand why we wrote the songs you hear on our cd.  We give God all the credit and we hope it touches your life.

"ALL FOR HIS GLORY" - Cd #1

Track #1 - THRONE ROOM - Written by Heather Parmley.  Vocals - Ross and Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments- Heather Parmley.  The Lord inspired me (Heather) to write this song summer of 2009. Just a normal day during my quiet time with the Lord praying and seeking his will.  The words came to me as I began to write down the lyrics on a piece of paper. Later I went to the studio and came up with a melody then presented it to the choir at church. We now use it as one of our praise and worship songs. 

Track #2 - ISN'T IT AMAZING - Written by Ross Parmley. Vocals - Ross and Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley. Guitar - Ross Parmley.  I (Ross) wrote this song in 2008.  One evening I was lead to write this song. Just meditating on the Lord and just amazed how big he really is and how he touched people in a service the night before. 

Track #3 -  WHEN I THINK IT'S ALL OVER - Written by Ross Parmley.  Vocals - Ross & Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley. I (Ross) was inspired to write this song for a couple that were going through a divorce in 2008.  This song was to help them and others who go through tough situations like this.  Through many problems people face,  some may think it's all over but if you are in the Lord's will that's when God really shines. 

Track #4 - GOD NEEDED YOU MORE - Written by Heather Parmley. Vocals/Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.  I (Heather) was inspired to write this song for a dear lady I work with who lost her mother in 2009.  I could only imagine what she was feeling when her mother whom she was very close to died suddenly and without warning.  I just felt the need to write a song and the message through this song is about God needing someone in heaven more than we do when our love ones pass on and leave us behind.  We have to realize in time that God needed them more than we did.  Hard but true.

Track #5 - HE KNOWS ME - Written by our daughter Kyra at eight years old in 2009.  Vocals - Kyra Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.  Kyra was totally inspired to write this song.  She came to us with the title and had a clear story of how God knew her before she was ever born and how he knows every step she takes and every move she makes and how great it is to know that he knows everything about her.  We feel that Kyra can continue to write and inspire people all around.

Track #6 - PARDON MY TEARS -  Written by Heather Parmley. Vocals - Ross &Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.  I (Heather) was inspired to write this song about my grandfather Herlen Lawless.  He passed away October 2003 as a result of lung cancer.  He and I were as close as best friends could be.  A terrible loss to my life.  In 2009 I sat down and tried to write a song that could best describe his life and his passing on to a greater place called heaven but I was overwhelmed with my own tears that I couldn't help but put those feelings into a song.  This song is not meant to be self-pity but if you listen to the second verse it tells about how Mary cried when her son Jesus bled and died.  So that to me makes it alright to cry and grieve from time to time.  Sometimes we should have to sit it out and cry,  so pardon my tears 'cause I have reason to cry. 

Track #7- DEAR JESUS -  Written by Ross Parmley. Vocals - Ross & Heather Parmley. Guitar - Blake Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.  I (Ross) wrote this song in 1999. Ten years later Heather & I began to put a melody to it.  At the time I wrote it, it was a letter to Jesus called "Dear Jesus."  The lyrics to this song just tells how we can call out to the Lord no matter our situation or broken hearted we are. 

Track #8 -  SIN IN THE CAMP - Written by Ross Parmley. Vocals - Ross & Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.  I (Ross) wrote this song in 2009.  This song was inspired reading God's word of what David went through and how a great man like David let sin enter into his camp like many great men today.

Track #9 - MORNING GLORIES - Written by Ross Parmley. Vocals - Ross & Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.  I (Ross) was inspired to write this song in Spring of 2008.  I was at work early one morning and was watching the sun come up and saw the morning glories starting to bloom. I was meditating on the Lord and was making  comparison to his glories that bloom in our life.
 
Track #10- JESUS, SEND THAT POWER - Written by Ross Parmley. Vocals - Heather Parmley. Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley. I (Ross) wrote this song in 2005.  Inspired by the Holy Spirit.  It's about how we need to plead to God for his power to consume us.

Track #11 - LOVING ARMS - Written by Heather Parmley. Vocals/Piano/Keyboard Instruments - Heather Parmley.   I (Heather) wrote this song in 2001.  It was during a time in my life that I just needed the loving arms of Jesus.  I was faced with some health issues that affected my life in many ways leaving me depressed and lonely.  Through my trials I would write and sing to the Lord and telling him how much I needed him because it seemed no one else in the world could fill that void.  I never put a melody to it or tried anything with this song until nine years later in 2009. I  just began to sing to the Lord.  Now you can hear it!
